We are seeking a part-time to full-time line cook with at least 1-2 years of upscale dining experience to join our team.  We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and test the limits of flavors.  We are a farm to table type restaurant that makes everything in-house.

BARTENDER / SERVER

We are seeking a part-time and/or seasonal Bartender , who has a passion for concocting delicious drinks and serving appealing food while at the same time providing an amazing guest dining experience and first-rate customer service.

This position has the opportunity to work as a Banquet Bartender as required and assigned.

General responsibilities:

  • Constantly offer professional, friendly, efficient and engaging guest service
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks to guests in the lounge/bar and prepare alcoholic drinks for other servers
  • Enter food and drink orders in POS system
  • Collect and process guest payments, using proper accounting and cash handling procedures; operate cash register and return appropriate change
  • Maintain current knowledge of liquor brands, drink recipes, bar terminology and service techniques at all times
  • Maintain full knowledge of all menus (food menu, wine list, beers on tap, etc.), including its major ingredients and preparation techniques
  • Maintain beverage portion control
  • Assess the needs and preferences of guests and make recommendations
  • Provide a friendly, prompt, attentive and timely service, creating an exceptional dining experience for guests
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Adhere to safe food and beverage handling requirements and regulations at all times
  • Check guest identification to confirm that it meets legal drinking age
  • Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations regarding the serving and consumption of alcohol
  • Fill drink orders either directly from customers in the bar or through team members who place drink orders from dining room and/or patio guests
  • Clean, bus and organize tables, chairs and bar area as needed so the tables and bar are ready for service prior to next guest arrival
  • Help and assist other team members with duties as needed and assigned
  • Complete standard operating procedure opening and closing checklists
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • Must have a passion for hospitality and a positive personality
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Washington State Food Workers Card and Washington State Liquor Control Board Class 12 Alcohol Serving Permit
  • Must have at least 1 year bartending experience with complete knowledge of current liquor brands and cocktail/drink recipes
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed and professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to perform job functions with great attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills; anticipate and acknowledge the needs of guests and respond promptly
  • Must be able to work long hours and a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work well and multi-task in stressful, high-pressured situations in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to handle guest complaints and disputes calmly and professionally and resolve them to satisfactory results; maintains composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must be able to work cohesively in a team environment with management, team members and guests; being a team player is a must!
  • Must be able to work under various environmental conditions that includes working both indoor and outdoor settings, with events frequently taking place in the elements in all four seasons and involving loud music
  • Must possess basic computer skills and perform basic arithmetic calculations with speed and accuracy, balancing cash, credit card and service receiptS

SERVER / BANQUET SERVER

We are seeking a part-time and/or seasonal Restaurant Server and/or Banquet Server . Candidates must have a passion for hospitality and customer service.

  • Must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed and professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to perform job functions with great attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills; anticipate and acknowledge the needs of guests and respond promptly
  • A quick learner
  • Must be able to work long hours and a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays

We are seeking a part-time hosts/hostesses, bussers, food runners/expeditors to join our team.

General responsibilities:

  • Show guests to their tables and seats
  • Bus, clean, organize and set up tables, chairs and patio furniture; ensure tables are ready for service prior to next guest arrival
  • Take dirty dishes back to kitchen dish pit
  • Roll silverware
  • Run food from kitchen to restaurant, and to guest tables
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Adhere to safe food and beverage handling requirements and regulations at all times
  • Provide a friendly, prompt, attentive and timely service, creating an exceptional dining experience for guest
  • Help and assist other team members with duties as needed and assigned
